Lettuce Wrap Ground Turkey Tacos

Crispy butter lettuce cups filled with spiced ground turkey, fresh salsa, and avocado — all the taco flavor, zero tortilla carbs.

Ingredients

  • 300g lean ground turkey
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh salsa
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and break apart with a spatula.
  2. 2. Season with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt. Cook for 7–8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. 3. Squeeze lime juice over the turkey and stir to combine.
  4. 4. Lay out large lettuce leaves as cups on a plate or board.
  5. 5. Spoon turkey into each leaf. Top with salsa and diced avocado.
  6. 6. Serve immediately. Optional: add shredded cheese, jalapeño, or Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
